LaunchesElectrolyte beer: the post-run pint arrives
Heineken and Lucky Saint both launched alcohol-free lagers with added electrolytes this year. What is in them, and how many calories.
Updated Checked by the Low Calorie Beer team

Heineken UK's Outd00r Brewing is a 0.0% isotonic lager with electrolytes, vitamin C and magnesium, in original and lemon. Heineken says it is gluten-free and the lowest-calorie isotonic lager on the market.
Lucky Saint's Lime & Sea Salt lager adds magnesium, potassium and sodium and has 80 calories a can. It launched first on TikTok Shop, a first for an alcohol-free beer brand.
Should you drink it after exercise?
Alcohol-free beer is mostly water, and electrolyte versions add the salts you lose in sweat. It is still a beer, so count the calories. For comparison, a standard 330ml can of Heineken 0.0 has about 69 kcal (21 kcal per 100ml).

IMPOSSIBREW Triple Hopped IPA
Counting calories? IMPOSSIBREW Triple Hopped IPA has 12 kcal per 100ml and Enhanced Lager 17 kcal, both with 60% fewer calories than an alcoholic beer.
